Young girl found shot with a hunting rifle

The incident occurred in the rural neighborhood of Yaylapınar. According to the information obtained, family members who heard a gunshot from the room where 16-year-old Cennet Ovalı was located entered the room and found her covered in blood, having been shot with a hunting rifle. 

Upon the notification made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.

The health teams that arrived at the scene in a short time determined that the young girl had lost her life during their checks. Her family was devastated upon receiving the news of Ovalı's death. 

The young girl's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue following the crime scene investigation.

According to initial investigations conducted by the gendarmerie teams, it was learned that they are focusing on the suspicion that Ovalı ended her own life with the hunting rifle.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
