Young man who lost his life in Sakarya turns out to be a close friend of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi
Efe Erdem Sevinç, a close friend of Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death in Kadıköy, was swept away by waves while swimming in the Karasu district of Sakarya and drowned.
In the Karasu district of Sakarya, 16-year-old Efe Erdem Sevinç was swept away by waves shortly after entering the sea in the İhsaniye neighborhood of Karasu, where he had come with his family from Ferizli.
Upon reports that Sevinç had gone missing, Coast Guard, gendarmerie, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the area.
TRAGIC NEWS AFTER SEARCH AND RESCUE EFFORTS
The incident occurred yesterday around 18:30. Efe Erdem Sevinç suddenly disappeared from sight in the sea. After approximately 1.5 hours of intensive search and rescue efforts, Sevinç's lifeless body was spotted on the water's surface. The young man, who was pulled from the water by Coast Guard teams, was moved to an ambulance after initial intervention by medical personnel. It was determined during the check that Sevinç had lost his life.
It was revealed that Efe Erdem Sevinç was a close friend of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life as a result of a knife attack in Kadıköy. Ahmet Minguzzi's mother, Yasemin Minguzzi, said in a post on her social media account, "My son Efe, did you go to be with Ahmet? I am burning, my son, I am burning."
