Timur Sevi, the Assembly President of the Yüksekova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YÜTSO), who was subjected to an armed attack in front of his home in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari yesterday evening, has lost his battle for life.

YÜTSO Assembly President Timur Sevi passes away

YÜTSO Assembly President Timur Sevi was critically wounded after being subjected to an armed attack in front of his home in the district's Cumhuriyet neighborhood yesterday evening.

After receiving initial intervention at Yüksekova State Hospital, President Sevi underwent surgery and was subsequently moved to the intensive care unit.

Sevi, whose treatment continued in intensive care, lost his battle for life this evening.
