TV8, owned by Acun Ilıcalı, has applied to the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for an initial public offering (IPO) through capital increase and share sale.
TV8 TV Yayıncılık A.Ş. announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that the necessary steps have been taken for the company to go public through a capital increase and share sale. According to the decision taken by the Board of Directors, the company's capital will be increased from 150 million TL to 171 million TL.
The statement indicated that the pre-emptive rights of the existing shareholder will be fully restricted and the entire capital increase will be carried out in cash. Furthermore, it was stated that shares with a nominal value of 14 million TL held by Acun Medya Holding A.Ş. will also be offered to the public through a share sale. Thus, it was reported that an application was filed with the CMB on November 14, 2025, for the public offering of shares with a total nominal value of 35 million TL.
It was emphasized that developments regarding the IPO process will be shared with the public and necessary disclosures will be made.
