Tekelioğlu stated the following:
"The non-pecuniary damages lawsuit filed against me by Turkuvaz Yayıncılık, which has been ongoing since 2018 and was being heard at the Istanbul 3rd Civil Court of First Instance, has been dismissed. I would like to thank my copyright lawyer, İlkser Akbulut, for her efforts and hard work. Justice has been served."
