Dolap users earned over 4 billion TL from sales in 2024

The second-hand shopping platform Dolap has announced its 2024 results. According to Dolap's 2024 data, over 17 million products were sold in total, 12 million of which were second-hand items. In 2024, Dolap users earned a total of over 4 billion TL solely through the sale of second-hand products. Dolap's 2024 performance indicates that interest in second-hand shopping platforms in Turkey is growing and that consumers are placing greater importance on conscious consumption and sustainability.

THE FAVORITE OF BARGAINING ON DOLAP: THE OFFER METHOD

On Dolap, users can be part of the shopping process through features such as likes, offers, follows, and comments. Thanks to these interaction tools, total interactions reached 7 million in 2024. Furthermore, a significant portion of the transactions consists of the "offer" method, where buyers can submit price proposals to sellers. Through this method, buyers have the opportunity to bargain by offering the price they want for products, while sellers have gained the chance to make more sales. The total discount amount achieved through offers exceeded 815 million TL.

DOLAP'S BEST-SELLING CATEGORY

The most popular category on Dolap was "Women's Clothing and Accessories". According to category-based performance in 2024, the Women's Clothing and Accessories category maintained its clear lead with over 8.3 million product sales. Among the most preferred product groups in this category were trousers, shirts, casual dresses, blouses, and sneakers. The "Home & Living" category ranked second, followed by the "Men's Clothing and Accessories," "Children & Baby," and "Electronics" categories.

TOP 5 CITIES IN SALES

In 2024, Istanbul led by a wide margin in both purchases and sales on the platform, followed by Ankara and Izmir. Bursa and Antalya were also among the top 5 cities for purchases and sales. The busiest sales period of the year was recorded as March. The best-selling product group in March was "Trousers".
