Ersin Düzen responds to claims he 'went on air in boxers'

A camera incident during the "Lig Raporu" program, which aired on the night of September 2 on NOW Spor, overshadowed the football agenda. During the live broadcast, where Ersin Düzen appeared alongside Uğur Karakullukçu, Veli Yiğit, and Erbatur Ergenekon, a robotic camera in the studio briefly widened its frame.

With the change in framing, the part of Düzen that is normally hidden under the desk was reflected on screen. After the footage spread on social media, some users commented that Düzen had gone on air wearing boxers instead of trousers.

Following the controversy, Düzen made a statement first during the broadcast and then on his social media account. The experienced presenter stated that he was wearing shorts, not boxers, and explained that the image occurred due to the long duration of the broadcast and the effect of the leather chair he was sitting on.

"Dear friends, I expressed this last night during the live broadcast, but it has become necessary to write it here as well :) During the 3-hour and 17-minute broadcast, the shorts I was wearing pulled up due to the effect of the leather chair. I explained this the moment the image appeared on screen due to the robotic camera's momentary focus, but I see that everyone has written whatever they wanted based on a photo or a 5-second video, and they continue to write, and frankly, I was very saddened to see these. I haven't lost my mind to the point of going on air in boxers, friends. It turns out that in my 30-year professional career, I would also have to make such a statement; best regards..."
