It had been claimed that Ekol TV, the channel to be founded by Ersan Şen and expected to begin broadcasting in 2024, had been canceled.

While many details regarding the channel were being questioned, Ersan Şen announced that he had abandoned the project, stating that the conditions were not suitable.

"I HAVE ABANDONED IT"

Speaking to Ayşe Baykal from Odatv, Şen stated, "I wanted to establish a news channel. We held meetings for the team, frequency, and setup costs. However, as a result of these meetings and studies, I have abandoned our project to establish a news channel because the conditions were not suitable."
