After the departure of Deniz Zeyrek and Aytunç Erkin from the newspaper, first Ebru Baki and then Editor-in-Chief Alişer Delek bid farewell to the institution at Sözcü TV.

It has been alleged that the astronomical salary received by Fatih Portakal is behind the unrest at the channel.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı made striking assessments regarding the departures at Sözcü.

Altaylı, who claimed that the monthly salary of Sözcü TV Main News Bulletin anchor Fatih Portakal is around 14 million TL and that this has disturbed high-level figures at the channel, stated the following:
