News of consecutive departures has come from ANKA News Agency. Editor-in-Chief Göksel Bozkurt and six employees have resigned from ANKA News Agency.
The agency's Editor-in-Chief Göksel Bozkurt, Managing Editor Mansur Çelik, Responsible Managing Editor Sinan Tartanoğlu, and four editors have left their jobs.
According to a report by Yeniçağ, it has been alleged that there were tensions between the ownership and the editorial team following the Journalists Union of Turkey (TGS) obtaining authorization at ANKA.
WHO IS GÖKSEL BOZKURT?
His journalism career, which began as an intern in 1985, continued professionally in many institutions after 1988. He served as a reporter, parliamentary bureau chief, and news director at Ulus, Günaydın, Hürriyet, Akşam, Yankı Magazine, Evrensel, National Press Agency (UBA), Star, and Birgün newspapers.

Bozkurt, who served as the parliamentary bureau chief for Hürriyet Daily News and Referans newspapers, had previously held the position of Managing Editor at ANKA's Ankara bureau. He was appointed as Editor-in-Chief in April 2021.
