It was claimed he would return: Halk TV statement from İsmail Küçükkaya!
Following a series of recent departures at Halk TV, it was suggested that İsmail Küçükkaya, who left the channel last year, would be returning. In a statement regarding the claims, Küçükkaya said he does not intend to return to the screen until September.
Following recent departures at Halk TV, claims emerged that journalist and presenter İsmail Küçükkaya would be returning to the channel. Küçükkaya, who parted ways with Halk TV last year, responded to the allegations with a statement on social media.
Without mentioning the channel by name, Küçükkaya stated the following:
"As you know, I have not been working for 8 months. There has been a lot written and said since yesterday; I suppose I have to make a statement. I do not intend to work until September. I have no such plan."
Good morning friends;

As you know, I have not been working for 8 months. There has been a lot written and said since yesterday; I suppose I have to make a statement. I do not intend to work until September. I have no such plan.
İsmail Küçükkaya transferred to Halk TV in 2022 and took on the role of hosting the program aired every weekday morning. Küçükkaya left the channel last year and moved to TV100, but parted ways with that channel as well after approximately two weeks.
DEPARTURES AT THE CHANNEL DREW ATTENTION
On the other hand, the departure of many on-air personalities and program hosts from Halk TV in recent weeks has drawn attention. In the separation process that began with Seda Selek, Sorel Dağıstanlı, Buket Güler, Gözde Şeker, Remziye Demirkol, and Gökmen Karadağ also announced that they had left the channel.
In her statement on April 30, Seda Selek announced that she had left the channel, stating, "Know that I have extremely valid reasons."
Sorel Dağıstanlı, who announced his departure on May 8, said, "I have left Halk TV, where I have worked for 5 years. The reason is the social media post I made some time ago regarding the departure of my friend Seda Selek."
In her departure statement, Buket Güler also included the words, "In this process, I am in solidarity with all my colleagues, whether they have left or stayed, who protect the dignity of our profession under all circumstances."
Gözde Şeker announced her final broadcast on the evening of May 10, saying, "Tomorrow will be my last broadcast on Halk TV." In a later post on her social media account, Şeker stated, "Actually, as I announced yesterday, I wanted to say goodbye on air. But it was not possible. Just as I coincidentally learned that I would not be able to go on air, my insistence on saying goodbye to the audience did not find a response. What can we do, it happened this way..."
In a post on May 11, Remziye Demirkol stated that she had resigned from the channel, saying, "When closing the broadcast, I said 'see you on Monday,' unfortunately I will not be able to keep this promise. Let me say my farewell here; I submitted my resignation as of this morning... I thank all my colleagues working at Halk TV for their efforts and friendship, and of course, you too..."
