Journalist Burak Bekdil passes away
Journalist Burak Bekdil has passed away due to a heart attack.
Serving as the Ankara representative for CNBC-e, Burak Bekdil had written articles for publications such as Defense News and Hürriyet Daily News for many years.
Bekdil, whose articles were published in international media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and The Guardian, passed away due to a heart attack following surgery after a motorcycle accident.
Bekdil’s funeral prayer will be held today at the Cunda Hamidiye Mosque, and he will be laid to rest at the Ayvalık Cemetery.
