New managers appointed to SHOW TV and Habertürk

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has officially appointed new managers for Can Medya, which is affiliated with Can Holding, following its seizure as part of a money laundering investigation. The management of the media group will be responsible for a broad structure that includes Habertürk TV, Show TV, Bloomberg HT, and other media outlets.

NAMES IN MANAGEMENT

Among the newly appointed managers, the names İbrahim Paşalı and Hakan Hastaoğlu stand out. İbrahim Paşalı had previously been appointed as a trustee to television channels such as Flash TV and Ekotürk. Hakan Hastaoğlu, on the other hand, had previously worked as an editor at haberturk.com, one of the important platforms of the media group formerly managed by Kenan Tekdağ.

In addition to İbrahim Paşalı and Hakan Hastaoğlu, names such as Şeref Safa, Yusuf Öksüzömer, Serdar Karakuş, and Ayşegül Aydoğan Uruş will also serve in the new management.

TERM OF OFFICE UNTIL 2028

According to the information announced in the Trade Registry Gazette, the term of office for the new management team will end on October 12, 2028. Until this date, the management of the group's media activities and operations will be entrusted to these managers appointed by the TMSF.

The same announcement also stated that the terms of the former managers have ended. These names included Mehmet Şakir Can, Kemal Can, Mehmet Kenan Tekdağ, and Özgün Öztunç. The new management will take over the management duties from the former managers and will act according to future strategic orientations.
