Statement from Sözcü TV regarding Ebru Baki

Ebru Baki, the host of the 'Para Politika' program, which airs every weekday on Sözcü TV, has not been on screen for two days.

İpek Özbey is hosting the program in Baki's place.

Social media users and citizens were wondering whether Ebru Baki had left the program.

'SHE WILL RETURN TO THE SCREEN ONCE SHE RECOVERS'

Sözcü TV General Manager Alişer Delek stated to 12punto, "Ebru Baki is sick, just like anyone else. She will return to the screen once she recovers."

WHO IS EBRU BAKİ?

Born in Istanbul in 1975, Ebru Baki is a journalist. Baki, who graduated from the Department of Journalism at Marmara University's Faculty of Communication, completed her internship at the Hürriyet Newspaper Economic Service during her university education.

During her undergraduate studies, she completed her internship at the Hürriyet Newspaper Economy Service. She graduated from Marmara University as the top student of her school and department, and some of the news reports and photographs she published in Cumhuriyet Magazine were deemed worthy of various awards.

Ebru Baki, who studied first at the Journalism Department of Marmara University, from which she graduated, and then at the Department of International Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Marmara University, was also awarded various scholarships.

She worked at Hürriyet for 7 years. She presented economic news on CNN Türk.

Following the replacement of Doğan Media by Demirören Media, Baki left CNN Türk and moved to the Habertürk channel.

In 2023, she left Habertürk and signed with Sözcü TV.

As of 2024, Baki hosts the program titled 'Para Politika' on Sözcü TV.
