Super Bowl breaks ratings record! Watched by more than 120 million people

The NFL final, Super Bowl, one of the biggest sports events of the year, has broken a ratings record. More than 120 million people watched the event.

In American football, which is among the most popular sports in the US, the champion is determined every year by the final match called the Super Bowl. Seen in the US more as a form of entertainment than just a competitive element, these sports matches, along with the content before and after them and the halftime shows, turn into an event that sparks great curiosity.

This year, with popular teams playing in the final, Usher's performance, and the influence of Taylor Swift, whose boyfriend was also on the field fighting for the championship, the match managed to glue Americans to their screens.

The number of people who watched the Super Bowl match held in Las Vegas on February 11 was announced as 123.4 million. The match, where the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers faced off, took its place in history as the highest-rated television broadcast since the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969. It was estimated that 120 million people watched the moon landing. According to official figures, the Super Bowl final managed to surpass that broadcast.
