The Oscar Awards ceremony, where the year's most notable productions from 'Poor Things' to 'Killers of the Flower Moon' and from 'Barbie' to 'Oppenheimer' will compete for 'Best Picture', will be broadcast live in Turkey on Disney+ on the night connecting Sunday, March 11, to Monday.
The Academy Awards, which will be held for the 96th time this year, will take place on the night connecting Sunday, March 11, to Monday.
A promotional video was recently released for the night, which will be hosted live for the fourth time by Emmy Award-winning talk show host and producer Jimmy Kimmel.
In the entertaining promo where Kimmel finds himself in Barbie Land, the successful host is accompanied by the film's actors Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, and America Ferrera.
AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED IN 16 CATEGORIES
Awards will be presented in 16 categories during the night, which will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
In this year's race, Christopher Nolan's latest film 'Oppenheimer' (13 nominations) and the Searchlight Pictures film 'Poor Things' (11 nominations), which is affiliated with The Walt Disney Company, share the top spot.
Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and released on February 9, the film is touted as the best in the director's filmography, and is also highlighted as the most prominent watch of the year with the performances of its cast, led by Emma Stone.
These two films are followed by Martin Scorsese's latest film 'Killers of the Flower Moon' with 10 nominations and 'Barbie' with 8 nominations. 'The Holdovers', 'American Fiction', 'The Zone of Interest', and 'Anatomy of a Fall' are also competing in 5 categories each.
The awards ceremony, produced by Raj Kapoor and directed by Hamish Hamilton, is also highly anticipated for the presenters who will hand out awards on the night, as much as for the winners.
The awards ceremony will be broadcast live in Turkey on Disney+.
