The price for the drop in ratings was paid by that name
The series Bereketli Topraklar, filmed in Adana, has undergone a change in director due to low ratings.
Although the new season series Bereketli Topraklar made a fast start to its screen journey, it failed to reach the expected viewership ratings.
The series, which has been on air for only three weeks, forced the production team to make an important decision due to the decline in ratings. It was announced that they have parted ways with director Yağız Alp Akaydın on the project, which marks the return of lead actor Engin Akyürek to sets after a long hiatus. This change has been recorded as the first major departure in the series.
Belçim Bilgin also returned to the screens after years with Bereketli Topraklar. However, the actress's performance caused a wide stir on social media. In particular, the scenes where she speaks with an Adana accent received intense criticism from viewers.
Social media users criticized Bilgin's acting and use of the accent, making comments such as "The worst acting I have ever seen" and "The accent is terrible, it didn't suit the role at all."
