Veteran journalist Erden Güley has passed away
Erden Güley (80), a former member of the Supervisory Board of the Journalists Association of Turkey (TGC) and a permanent press card holder, has passed away. A statement was issued by the TGC following Güley's death.
Journalist Erden Güley, who worked for institutions such as Vatandaş, Akşam, Son Havadis, Türkiye Gazetesi, and Yeni Asır during his career spanning over 50 years, has passed away.
The TGC Board of Directors issued a statement following the death of Erden Güley, who was the recipient of numerous professional awards.

WHO IS ERDEN GÜLEY?
Erden Güley was born in Adana in 1943. He studied at the Ankara University School of Press and Broadcasting. He began his career in 1961 as a reporter at Türksözü.
He continued his journalism career at Vatandaş, Dirlik, Akşam, Son Havadis, Hayat Yayınları, Yeni Asır, THA, ABC Agency, and Türkiye Gazetesi. Erden Güley, who held many professional awards, was married and a father of two.
