RTÜK launches investigation into Ayşenur Arslan and Halk TV

Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) Chairman Ebubekir Şahin announced that an investigation has been launched into Halk TV and Ayşenur Arslan due to remarks made on a program regarding the terrorist attack that took place in Ankara.

RTÜK Chairman Ebubekir Şahin stated in a post on his social media account, "It is impossible for us to tolerate this immoral, terror-loving mentality and these freakish comments on our screens. Like our entire nation, we oppose this deviant mentality that seems almost saddened by the fact that a potential massacre was prevented by the reflexes and early intervention of our heroic police. The necessary investigation into Halk TV, where these sick words were broadcast, and the person concerned has been launched immediately. Respectfully announced to the public."

WHAT DID AYŞENUR ARSLAN SAY?

Ayşenur Arslan had used the following expressions on the Medya Mahallesi program on Halk TV;

"ONE DOES NOT DIE WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING"
