Ahmet Yavuz's review of Atatürk II: Acting is magnificent but there are errors in the script
Retired Major General Ahmet Yavuz reviewed the film Atatürk II, which is currently in theaters. Yavuz stated that there are some errors in the film's script.
The second part of the 'Atatürk' film, starring Aras Bulut İynemli, titled "Atatürk 1881-1919," will be released in theaters tomorrow. Retired Major General Ahmet Yavuz shared his review of the film on his social media account.
Emphasizing that the acting in the film is magnificent, Yavuz noted that there are some errors in the script. Yavuz wrote the following:
“I watched the Atatürk II film with interest. The actors were magnificent. It is clear that a lot of effort was put into it. The costumes are true to the original. However, I observed some errors in the script. There are some inaccurate portrayals, such as in the Gallipoli section (the relationship with Conker, the depiction of certain meetings prior to the appointment to the Anafartalar Group Command as if they occurred after the Battle of Conkbayırı, showing him in the region during the withdrawal of the Allied Forces despite him being in Istanbul, etc.), as well as in the narrative of the retreat during the Muş Battles. The details regarding the process of his departure for the 9th Army Inspectorate are also not in accordance with the truth. I congratulate those who contributed.”
