Barış Terkoğlu evaluates the detention of Ayşenur Arslan

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated in an announcement: "An investigation has been launched for 'making propaganda for a terrorist organization' and 'praising a crime and a criminal' regarding the remarks made by Ayşenur Arslan on a program broadcast on the channel Halk TV on October 2, concerning the attack carried out by the terrorist organization PKK in front of the General Directorate of Security on October 1."

Arslan, for whom a detention warrant was issued as part of the investigation, was taken into custody at her home in Sarıyer by teams from the Istanbul Counter-Terrorism Branch Directorate.

Arslan was brought to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan under police escort. She was released after giving her statement to the prosecutor.
