HKP Chairman Nurullah Efe Ankut: 'The Turkish Army is not like Arab armies'

Halkın Kurtuluş Partisi (HKP) Chairman Nurullah Efe Ankut, in a statement regarding developments in Syria and political dynamics in the region, emphasized the strength and independence of the Turkish army. Criticizing US and EU imperialism, Ankut took a firm stance against potential threats to Turkey.

''THE TURKISH ARMY IS MUSTAFA KEMAL'S ARMY''

Nurullah Ankut stated that the Turkish army cannot be compared to the armies of certain other countries, saying, “Our army is not like Arab armies. Mustafa Kemal's Army is represented by our young lieutenants who defend his principles and our commanders who carry a revolutionary spirit.”

Drawing attention to the historical role of the Turkish army in the struggle for independence, Ankut remarked, “A few NATO-aligned and pro-American elements at the top of our army do not represent the Turkish army. Throughout history, the Turkish army has stood with the people and independence.”

TARGETED US AND EU IMPERIALISM 

Targeting US and EU imperialism, Ankut issued warnings against potential threats to Turkey. “We say to imperialist powers and their local collaborators: We will defeat you once again in the Middle East. You will leave just as you came,” he said, recalling the historical resistance power of the Turkish people and their army.

The HKP Chairman argued that the conflicts in Syria are being deepened by collaborative structures in the region, stating, “Those who strive to collapse the legitimate Syrian government have turned their eyes toward Turkey. However, these plans are doomed to fail in the face of the Turkish people's will for independence.”
