Proposed solution to traffic problem in Istanbul: Staggered working hours
IMM IYI Party Group Spokesperson Dr. Suat Sarı has proposed transitioning to a 'staggered working hours' system to address the traffic problem in Istanbul.
Rain in Istanbul has paralyzed traffic, with congestion levels rising as high as 90 percent. IMM IYI Party Group Spokesperson and Transportation and Traffic Expert Dr. Suat Sarı shared his proposed solution to the traffic problem on his social media account.
In his post, Dr. Sarı recommended transitioning to a 'staggered working hours' system. Sarı wrote the following:
"THERE IS A SOLUTION! As a Doctor of Transportation and Traffic, I know the prescription that will save Istanbul from the disease of traffic, and I insist that it be implemented. One of the medicines that must be applied is the 'Staggered Working Hours' system. As long as a staggered working hours system is not put into effect in Istanbul, the problem of congestion in traffic and public transportation will only grow! I have constantly proposed this through the IMM Assembly and media outlets in previous periods as well. Expecting to produce different solutions using the same methods is a fantasy!"
