Where does FETÖ stand in the Hrant Dink assassination?
The article by Hüseyin Özbek, in which he writes about the traces of FETÖ in the Hrant Dink murder, has returned to the agenda.
Hrant Dink's killer, Ogün Samast, has been released. Samast's release has brought to mind the debated issues surrounding the Dink murder. The article by 12punto columnist and former Vice President of the Union of Turkish Bar Associations, Attorney Hüseyin Özbek, in which he writes about the traces of FETÖ in the Dink murder, has returned to the agenda.
Emphasizing that Turkey was intended to be accused and cornered through the Dink murder, Özbek's article is as follows:
"Hrant Dink was the most important figure of the recently politicized Armenian identity. The 'Politicized New Armenian Identity' he sought to create through his writings, his statements, and the editorial policy of the Agos newspaper he owned is a subject for another article.
The realization of a Turkey design in line with the US's Greater Middle East Project (BOP) necessitated the liquidation of traditional institutions. It was impossible for the BOP project to be realized without the liquidation of regime dynamics such as the Turkish Armed Forces, the Constitutional Court, the high judiciary, law enforcement, and the national bureaucracy.
The liquidation of the Republic of Turkey's regime architecture of October 29, 1923, which was based on a national army, national judiciary, national economy, and national bureaucracy, could not be carried out under normal conditions. The fundamental liquidation of the regime was only possible through social engineering to be carried out via staged traumas and fractures to be created in Turkey.
The multiplier effect of the assassinations of Father Santoro (February 5, 2006), the massacre of missionaries at the Zirve Publishing House in Malatya (April 18, 2007), and Hrant Dink (January 19, 2007) in this liquidation project should not be overlooked. Again, attention should be paid to the lumpen hitmen fed by a political tradition in all of these murders. It must be underlined that these murders were designed as a prologue and facilitator for the FETÖ-staged Silivri trials that would begin in 2009.
Hrant Dink was a political identity known both domestically and internationally for his polemics with the Armenian Patriarch of the time, Mesrob Mutafyan, and his rhetoric centered on April 24, 1915, which was not on the agenda of our Armenian citizens in Turkey. He was the most important figure of the political Armenianism initiated in Turkey with the Agos newspaper.
Imperial circles, which wanted to accuse Turkey of the Armenian Genocide, to corner and bring it to its knees through this accusation, and to destroy its resistance and determination against these accusations, broke his pen the moment they decided that his death would be more profitable than his life.
The Hrant Dink murder was committed for the purpose of updating the April 24, 1915 Armenian genocide theses. The destruction that would be caused by the heavy bill to be placed in front of a Turkey that would be accused and intimidated as the perpetrator of the Dink assassination was calculated down to the finest detail. The imperial center is the planner of the Dink murder, FETÖ is the field implementer, and the hitman is the final link in the chain.
The civil and law enforcement bureaucracy under FETÖ's control, along with its extensions in the judiciary, played their parts in the assassination in line with the instructions given from above. In this assassination, which aimed to cause destruction in the perception of Turks and Turkey far beyond 'Midnight Express,' to update April 24, 1915, and to increase its impact coefficient, FETÖ's mission was to divert the murder, to cover up the real perpetrators and the dynamics behind it as much as possible, and to pin the entire bill on the Republic of Turkey."
