The İYİ Party, which entered the elections under the Nation Alliance umbrella, did not achieve the results it expected. Following the elections, Chairperson Meral Akşener announced that the alliance had ended and declared that they would now enter elections independently with their own candidates. Akşener's move continues to be debated both within the party and in the public eye.

Following Akşener's move, the debate was reignited by Eskişehir Deputy Nebi Hatipoğlu. In a television program he attended, Hatipoğlu proposed joining the People's Alliance. Hatipoğlu said, "We could form an alliance with a right-wing party based on certain principles. It could be the AKP or the MHP."
