15 million lira spent on 10 parliamentary offices
İYİ Party Denizli Deputy Yasin Öztürk asked the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey why new parliamentary offices were needed and what the cost of these offices was. It was revealed that 15 million lira was spent on 10 parliamentary offices.

TOKİ CONDUCTED THE PROJECT: 15 MILLION LIRA SPENT
According to a report by Ceren Bayar from Gazete Duvar; in its response, the Speaker's Office stated that there was no shortage of office space during the 27th legislative term because some deputies were appointed as ministers. The response noted, "In order to meet the subsequent demand for office space, offices and meeting rooms on the ground floor of the Public Relations Building were renovated and converted into 10 standard parliamentary offices under an additional protocol signed between the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) and the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on 14.08.2023. They were made available for use by deputies as of October 1, 2023."
While it was stated that all processes, including the tender within the scope of the protocol in question, were carried out by TOKİ, it was noted that "as a result of the tender held by TOKİ, the work in question was completed in 30 days for a cost of 14,879,000 TL."
The response also noted that for the need for meeting rooms, 2 rooms of 55 square meters each in the foyer area located on the lower ground floor of the Public Relations Building were rearranged without any additional cost and made available for use by deputies.
