9 mayors to join AKP
It has been stated that 9 mayors from various parties are expected to join the AKP during a ceremony to be held on September 29.
New additions to the ranks of mayors in the AKP are expected. It was stated that 9 mayors elected from different parties will join the AKP at a participation ceremony to be held within the party on September 29.
It was noted that among the names expected to join are four mayors elected from the CHP. In this context, it was reported that the mayors of İzmir Çiğli, Tekirdağ Çerkezköy, Balıkesir Marmara Island, and Erzurum Şenkaya are among those who will join the AKP.
It was also noted that the mayors of Kahramanmaraş Dulkadiroğlu and Türkoğlu, as well as the Mayor of Elazığ Palu from the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi), are expected to join the AKP.
It was also stated that the Mayor of Sivas Koyulhisar from the İYİ Party is among the names who will join the AKP. With the names announced, the total number of participants expected to join during the day is set to reach 9 mayors.
