A human wall in Silivri! The reason for the protection provided to Aziz İhsan Aktaş has been revealed

Extraordinary security measures were observed ahead of the first hearing of the “Aziz İhsan Aktaş criminal organization” case, held at the Silivri Penal Institutions Campus. Aziz İhsan Aktaş, identified as the most critical figure in the trial, was brought to the courthouse accompanied by a convoy of civilian vehicles and a large close-protection team.

When asked by journalists about the reason for the security measures, it was reported that Aktaş responded, “The state provided protection against the possibility of an assassination.”

It was learned that numerous defendants, including CHP mayors, attended the hearing. It was noted that as Aktaş entered the courtroom, his bodyguards formed what was essentially a human wall.

ASSASSINATION ALLEGATION

It was stated that the “possibility of an assassination” mentioned by Aktaş is based on allegations that emerged during the investigation process and caused widespread public reaction. These allegations were linked to the file that served as the basis for the arrest of MHP member Selahattin Yılmaz.

It was stated that the foundation of this process lies in the “hitman” allegations that came to the agenda in August 2025. According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, known for its proximity to the government, it was alleged that the imprisoned IMM Sports Club President Fatih Keleş wanted to have Aziz İhsan Aktaş killed to make him “stay silent” and had reached an agreement with Selahattin Yılmaz for this purpose.

Following these allegations, it was reported that 10 people, including Selahattin Yılmaz, were arrested and sent to prison on charges of “preparing for an assassination” and “membership in an organization.”

CRIMINAL COMPLAINT FROM KELEŞ

Following these developments, it was reported that Fatih Keleş filed a criminal complaint with the Kandıra Chief Public Prosecutor's Office through his lawyer, Baran Kaya.

The criminal complaint petition included information that Recep Seyhan, the lawyer for Adem Soytekin—who became a confessor after being arrested as part of the IMM investigations—visited Keleş in prison on July 23, 2025.

According to the petition, Lawyer Seyhan told Keleş that he had been chosen as the “scapegoat” in the file. It was alleged that Seyhan suggested Keleş benefit from effective remorse and confirm Soytekin’s statements; it was claimed that he was told salvation would be possible if the statements expected by the prosecutor's office were provided, but that a large payment was required for this.

ALLEGATIONS OF PRESSURE IN PRISON

According to the information in the petition, it was stated that despite Keleş rejecting this offer, Lawyer Seyhan continued his insistence. It was noted that for the second meeting, Seyhan went with Hamza Uçan, another lawyer for Adem Soytekin.

It was stated that during the meeting, Uçan waited next to the correctional officers, while Seyhan entered the meeting booth alone. It was reported that Keleş reacted to this situation, saying, “I did not call you,” and that his refusal of the meeting was reflected in the records.

According to statements made by Keleş, it was alleged that Seyhan arrived with a pre-prepared effective remorse statement that did not belong to Keleş and pressured him to testify that he had incited Selahattin Yılmaz to kill Aziz İhsan Aktaş.
