As reported by Ceren Bayar from T24, a portion of the song's lyrics is as follows:

Selahattin Demirtaş and Sırrı Süreyya Önder had previously taken the stage together to sing folk songs at Ferhat Tunç's 30th-anniversary concert in 2013.
