A notable table after the operation: Critical figures meet for dinner in Ataşehir

Immediately following the investigation conducted in Ataşehir and the subsequent arrest decision, a meeting held at a luxury restaurant in the district has drawn attention. 

According to information reported by Halk TV, former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and other prominent figures met at the same table.

A NOTABLE DINNER FOR 8

It was stated that a total of 8 people attended the meeting held in the evening. It was reported that Battal İlgezdi, his wife and CHP MP Gamze Akkuş İlgezdi, and Barış Yarkadaş were also present at the dinner.

It was noted that the meeting was significant due to both its location and its timing.

THE İLGEZDİ DETAIL ON THE AGENDA

It was recalled that Battal İlgezdi was one of the figures who reacted after not being re-nominated for Ataşehir in the 2024 local elections. It was reported that İlgezdi is known for his closeness to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and that he provided both financial and moral support for the efforts carried out following the change in party leadership.

A notable detail in the investigation process leading to the arrest of Onursal Adıgüzel was the identity of the complainant. It was stated that one of the complainants was Özkan Kınalı, the nephew of Battal İlgezdi.

It was stated that Kınalı alleged that a donation was demanded from them in order to obtain a license.

ADIGÜZEL'S STATEMENT

Onursal Adıgüzel, who gave a statement within the scope of the investigation, said regarding the allegations: "Özkan Kınalı is the nephew of the former Mayor, Battal İlgezdi. I have just learned that he is carrying out a construction project in Ataşehir. He may be harboring hostility toward me because I replaced his uncle. I have absolutely made no demands of him."
