Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced on his social media account that savings were achieved in the Dikimevi-Natoyolu (Mamak Metro) line tender. He stated that they reduced the 575 million euro tender by 187 million euros.
ABB Mayor Yavaş included the following statements in his social media post:
"We did not settle for 575 million euros; we defended the rights of the people of Ankara. We renewed the tender and received a bid that was 187 million euros lower in the second round. The savings we achieved in the Dikimevi-Natoyolu (Mamak Metro) line tender are the most concrete indicator of our management approach that looks after our people's money. Transparent and rational management is winning for Ankara."
