After the admiral with a turban, an admiral with a Red Notice: Interpol is searching for this Uzbek-origin individual!
The Uzbek-origin individual sought by Interpol was granted Republic of Turkey citizenship and shared a photo of himself in a rear admiral's uniform. CHP Gaziantep MP Hasan Öztürkmen brought the incident to Parliament and asked Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, "What is his duty?"
The investigation launched into the lieutenants who said, "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal," has reached the agenda of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).
According to the report by Başak Kaya from Sözcü; CHP Gaziantep MP Hasan Öztürkmen brought to Parliament the photo of Botir Rahimov, an Uzbek-origin individual who is sought by Interpol and was granted Turkish citizenship during Süleyman Soylu's tenure as Minister of the Interior, posing in a Turkish Naval Forces rear admiral's uniform.
Öztürkmen stated the following:
"No investigation was launched into the admiral with a turban and robes; he was rewarded and is enjoying himself in military social facilities. Rahimov, who wears a rear admiral's uniform and is sought with a Red Notice, does not damage the reputation of the Turkish Army. However, our young lieutenants do. We stand by our lieutenants; we support our young lieutenants."
Rahimov, who is wanted in Spain for money laundering, had become a Turkish citizen and changed his name to Bahtiyar İkramoğlu.
