Ağıralioğlu responds to Bahçeli's call for 'status for Öcalan': His status is clear

Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu reacted to the statements made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who said, "The status deficit of İmralı must be brought to a reasonable conclusion," and the DEM Party delegation, which stated, "A chief negotiator status should be provided for Öcalan," regarding PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan within the scope of the Terror-Free Turkey process.

MHP Chairman Bahçeli said at the TBMM Group meeting, "How will the status problem of the founding leadership of the PKK be handled? If there is such a problem, which we believe there is, how will it be solved? How will the status deficit of İmralı, which serves a Terror-Free Turkey, be closed?"

DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları replied, "For a lasting peace, Mr. Öcalan's status must be recognized through a legal regulation and secured under legal protection."

Anahtar Party Chairman Yavuz Ağıralioğlu reacted to the 'status' statements coming from the MHP and DEM Party fronts via his social media account.
