Ahmet Davutoğlu's call to Islamic leaders: Put Netanyahu in his place

Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu delivered a speech at the group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

Stating that they were waiting for the decision to be taken after the meeting, Davutoğlu said, "When we read the OIC declaration, I will be blunt; I did not feel disappointment, I felt shame. The declaration has two things. One is an observation; meaning, like all people in the world, they are also observing. They are identifying the atrocities taking place, that is true. The second is a call. Do you know who the call is to? A call to the United Nations, a call to humanity, a call to various institutions. Well, what will you do? For God's sake, what decision did you take? Mr. President says, as if he had won a great victory on the way, 'We have taken important decisions.' "WHERE IS YOUR COURAGE?"

Davutoğlu continued his speech with the following remarks:

"I said here what you should do. Say that you will freeze all your normalization relations. Did they say it? No. On the contrary, Netanyahu turned around and threatened the Arab leaders. He said, 'You will not be able to stay in your positions either.' A dead Palestinian child says this to them; 'It is better to be those like us who go to the afterlife with their tiny bodies than to be cowardly leaders like you.' I am addressing the Islamic leaders who are afraid of Netanyahu's threat; you are responsible for this climate of fear. Where is your courage? Why don't you put Netanyahu in his place with a joint declaration?"
