AKP began to melt after the local elections: CHP emerged as the 1st party in that poll
According to the latest survey by Yöneylem Research on the Parliamentary Elections, the CHP was seen as the leading party with 34.1 percent of the vote, while the AKP was the second party with 30.9 percent.
CHP had ended the leadership that the AKP had maintained since 2002 with the municipalities it won in the local elections.

Yöneylem Research announced the Voter Preferences for the Parliamentary Elections survey, based on its Voter Trends research conducted between April 26-29.
The following results were reached in the study conducted with 2,222 people at 240 points:
CHP: 34.1 percent
AKP: 30.9 percent
DEM Party: 9.4 percent
MHP: 8.3 percent
New Welfare Party: 6 percent
İYİ Party: 3.9 percent
Victory Party: 3.5 percent
TIP: 1.2 percent
Other: 2.7 percent
