İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay hosted an AKP delegation, which included AKP Secretary General and İzmir Deputy Eyyüp Kadir İnan, at his office.
During the visit, a framed painting featuring a photograph of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was gifted to Tugay. The meeting took place following Tugay's resignation from the CHP and his joining the AKP on October 7.
"WE HELD A BRIEF ASSESSMENT"
Speaking to the press, Tugay stated that they held a "brief assessment" regarding the work to be carried out in the coming period. Tugay said, "This is a transition period. There will be no regression in any of the municipal services in İzmir; from now on, we will add new ones."
The delegation included AKP İzmir Provincial Chairman Bilal Saygılı, as well as AKP İzmir deputies Mehmet Ali Çelebi, Ceyda Bölünmez Çankırı, Mahmut Atilla Kaya, Şebnem Bursalı, Yaşar Kırkpınar, and Mustafa Bilici.
The meeting was also attended by Menemen Mayor Aydın Pehlivan, Menderes Deputy Mayor Asuman Şen, Foça Mayor Saniye Bora Fıçı, Çiğli Mayor Onur Emrah Yıldız, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Council AKP Group Chairman Hakan Yıldız, AKP İzmir Women's Branch Chairwoman Emel Dalkıran, and AKP İzmir Provincial Youth Branch Chairman Mehmet Emin İçelli.
