AKP deputies fear the photo op! The agenda is the Imrali visit

Turkey's main agenda item has become the Imrali visit, which will be discussed at the commission meeting to be established in Parliament on Friday. 

If a qualified majority is reached, the commission will decide on a delegation composed of those who voted 'yes' to travel to Imrali and meet with PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Ahead of the visit, the AKP and CHP will hold their own internal meetings today to announce their parties' positions. The MHP and the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) firmly support the visit. The CHP's stance, in particular, has become a subject of curiosity.

CHP's Murat Emir stated that reports in the press claiming "the CHP's Imrali decision has been made" are incorrect, noting that their position will be announced after the internal party meeting. Reports suggesting that a decision was made not to go to Imrali during the meeting held the night before have not been confirmed.

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız stated in his remarks yesterday that the meeting to be held on Friday would result in a decision to go to Imrali and that the visit would be carried out as soon as possible.

AKP DEPUTIES' PHOTO CONCERN

Journalist Hilal Köylü shared information she obtained from AKP corridors on her personal YouTube channel. According to Köylü, AKP deputies are less concerned about going to Imrali than they are about being photographed with Öcalan.

It has been learned that party members have reached a consensus, stating, "President Erdogan has given the instruction, let us go, but let us not appear in a joint frame with Ocalan, and let the photos not be shared with the public. Or, let only the meeting notes be released from the visit."
