AKP Adana Deputy Ahmet Zenbilci has announced that he has resigned from his party after his son's name was mentioned in an investigation.
Zenbilci announced his resignation on his personal social media account.

Drawing attention to the investigation in which his son's name was mentioned, Zenbilci resigned, stating, "My greatest expectation is that the investigation be conducted effectively."
Zenbilci's post is as follows:
"I have learned with great sadness that my son's name has also been mentioned in a judicial investigation. Due to this situation, which I never approve of, my greatest expectation is that the investigation be conducted effectively and that the material truth be revealed. I am resigning from my party so that this process does not harm the party I am proud to be a member of and my colleagues in the cause."

Shortly after announcing his resignation, Zenbilci closed his X account.
