AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala stated in his remarks regarding the fund investigation that state institutions are monitoring the process and that the investigations will continue.
Ala spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for the second phase of the urban transformation project carried out by the Yıldırım Municipality in the Davutkadı neighborhood. Stating that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been following the process with sensitivity from the very first day, Ala expressed that the necessary instructions have been given.
“The investigations are continuing and will continue. State institutions are on top of the matter and are performing their duties. The decision is clear, and the instruction is clear and definitive.”
Ala also addressed the allegations made by Good Party (İYİ Parti) İzmir Deputy Ümit Özlale regarding the fund investigation.
Arguing that the allegations brought up against a minister do not reflect the truth, Ala claimed that even name similarities were not being distinguished.
Stating that those who commit wrongdoing will be investigated and punished regardless of who they are, Ala said that the process will be conducted within the framework of the law.
“Whoever it may be, and whoever it may concern, the rules are clear. Those who do wrong are punished, investigated, and examined. We know what we are doing, but we do not act with the troll mentality of others. We consider it our duty to manage the country with such care so that those who do right do not suffer harm either.”
