AKP deputy defends diploma scandal! Claims it happens everywhere in the world

While a scandal has recently emerged regarding the forging of signatures of certain high-level public officials to issue fake diplomas and driver's licenses, a surprising statement has come from AKP Konya Deputy Mehmet Baykan.  

In a social media post following the capture of the gang issuing fake documents, Baykan argued that what happened was a situation that "could happen anywhere in the world." He dismissed the extensive media coverage of the scandal as a "perception operation."

In the incident that caused widespread public outcry, it was revealed that certain gangs had been forging the electronic signatures of high-level bureaucrats to issue fake diplomas, driver's licenses, and various official documents. As a result of operations by security forces, the gang in question was dismantled, and it was determined that a large number of people had obtained fake documents.

The number of people who received fake documents is 200. This is a case of piracy that could happen anywhere in the world, and there are those facing 50-year sentences. Despite this, the Western-leaning crowd, which broadcasts with the funding of drug-addicted sponsors that have largely lost their operational power, immediately stepped in to carry out a perception campaign aimed at confusing the minds of 86 million people. It won't work. You never end (though we don't want you to end either), but the local cadres have also made significant progress. The days when you could manipulate the country's agenda with headlines are gone. The 150-year-old account has now turned against you; see this. It is clear that you do not want to see it. Suit yourselves."
