AKP's Galip Ensarioğlu makes claims about CHP, DEM, and İYİ Party! 'After the election...'
Evaluating the local elections on March 31, 2024, AKP's Galip Ensarioğlu claimed that Turkish politics will be redesigned after the election. Stating that the CHP chairman will change, Ensarioğlu said there will be a crossroads for the DEM Party base and that the İYİ Party will dissolve.
AKP Diyarbakır MP Galip Ensarioğlu made statements regarding the upcoming local elections.
Evaluating the DEM Party's nomination of Meral Danış Beştaş in Istanbul, Ensarioğlu said, "The AK Party will win. If Başak Demirtaş had been the candidate, the AK Party would have won without a contest. There will be a struggle after this alliance, but the AK Party will win. Look, there is an alliance with DEM in Istanbul. Do not look at Beştaş being the candidate. Everyone will see what kind of alliance there is in Istanbul during the election propaganda process."
"CHP CHAIRMAN WILL CHANGE, İYİ PARTY WILL DISSOLVE"
In an interview with BBC Türkçe, Ensarioğlu stated that Turkish politics would be redesigned after the local elections, commenting, "First, the CHP Chairman will change. Second, a new crossroads will emerge in the DEM Party base. Third, the İYİ Party will dissolve."
When asked, "What will happen to your party?", Ensarioğlu replied:
"The AK Party will strongly maintain its position. What would happen if the AK Party drops by 1 point, or what if it increases by 2 points? I mean, whether it drops or increases by 1 point, nothing happens to the AK Party. But the others will be in shambles."
