AKP hits the campaign trail for local elections: Erdoğan to begin rallies in these provinces
It has been learned that AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will hold rallies in 50 provinces as part of his local election campaign. Erdoğan is planned to start his rally tour on January 20 in provinces affected by the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.
As the local elections approach, political parties have accelerated their efforts.
According to a report by the pro-government newspaper Sabah, the AKP has completed its preparations for the election campaign, ranging from music and slogans to projects and propaganda. It has been learned that the AKP, which is expected to shift into higher gear in its election efforts with the new year, will announce most of its candidates on January 15.
The AKP Promotion and Media Department will hold a meeting on January 2 regarding the promotional organization. With the new year, the entire organization will be out in the field in full force.
