AKP member Fatih Bolcan, who mostly wins organization tenders from AKP-run municipalities, has received his 118th tender from the AKP-run Kağıthane Municipality.

HE COULD NOT BECOME MAYOR, BUT...

Fatih Bolcan, who was a candidate for the AKP nomination for Mayor of Başakşehir in the 2014 elections, may not have become mayor, but he won tenders one after another. According to a report by Uğur Can Biçer from Oda TV, the company A Z Reklam Basım Organizasyon Turizm Ve Yapı İşleri Dış Tic. Ltd. Şirketi, which Bolcan entered as a partner in 2008 but now owns entirely, received its 118th tender from the Kağıthane Municipality.

The tender opened by the Kağıthane Municipality under the name "2023 Domestic Cultural Tours Organization" was awarded to the A Z Reklam firm for 13 million 337 thousand TL. The A Z Reklam firm signed the contract with the Municipality on October 3, 2023. The company received its first tender in 2010 from the AKP-run Zeytinburnu Municipality. The value of that tender, which was for cultural tour organization, was announced as 7 million 137 thousand 300 TL.

Many politicians attended the wedding of Fatih Bolcan, who married the daughter of former AKP deputy from Rize, Mustafa Baş, in 2003. The wedding, officiated by Eminönü Mayor Lütfi Kibiroğlu, was attended by AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Şener, Minister of Public Works Zeki Ergezen, Minister of Finance Kemal Unakıtan, Minister of Forestry Osman Pepe, Minister of Environment İmdat Sütlüoğlu, Ankara Mayor Melih Gökçek, Hayrunnisa Gül, Emine Erdoğan, National Team Technical Director Şenol Güneş, and numerous deputies.

WHO IS FATİH BOLCAN

Born in Çorum in 1976, Fatih Bolcan graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Political Sciences in 1998. Between 1995 and 1999, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Fazilet Party Gaziosmanpaşa Youth Branches and the Istanbul Provincial Youth Branches. In 1997, he was a member and Commission Chairman of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Youth Assembly. Bolcan, who began his professional career at the İSKİ Press and Public Relations Directorate, later became the Private Secretary at the Eminönü Municipality. Bolcan, who worked as an expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs European Union Secretariat General Central Finance and Contracts Unit, served as the Press, Publication and Public Relations Manager at the Küçükçekmece Municipality. In the March 29, 2009 Local Elections, he undertook the role of Election Coordinator at the AK Party Küçükçekmece Election Coordination Center. In the June 12, 2011 General Parliamentary Elections, he served as Deputy Chairman responsible for Promotion and Media at the Istanbul 2nd Region Election Coordination Center. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Sadakataşı Association, of which he was a founder.
