Hopeless post from AKP's Tayyar regarding the 'change' process in his party

While resignations and major changes are expected in the AKP, which lost many municipalities it held to the CHP, the process so far does not seem to have gone beyond rhetoric.

Apart from a few resignations, no changes have been seen in the important echelons of the party, while voices are rising from the crowds that the AKP has not taken sufficient steps for 'change'.

Thinking that his party is late in implementing the messages given by the citizens, Şamil Tayyar shared a self-criticism on his social media account. While stating that he believes his party has learned the necessary lessons from the election results, AKP's Tayyar said that it has not been able to clearly take the steps that need to be taken in this regard.

Tayyar used the following expressions:

"It has been more than 2 months since we left the local elections behind.

Almost everyone has poured their heart out regarding the demand for change in the AK Party.

Some openly, some under their breath.

Since our President also said 'we have received the message', he must have examined the issue in every aspect.

Although messages that would relieve the public and the party base, instill hope, and make people dream about the future have been given so far, they have not had much effect because they remained on paper.

Furthermore, seeing that the dose of favoritism and arbitrariness that surrounds the party like a tumor continues to increase is an added burden.

As I see those who shuttle back and forth to secure positions such as ministries, deputy ministries, general directorships, and general secretaryships for presidents, candidates, and bureaucrats who lost the election, as well as for relatives, acquaintances, spouses, and friends, it is saddening to observe that the group of those who still have not learned their lesson is expanding.

Such being the case, there is no point in writing, drawing, or talking from this hour on.

For me, the matter is closed.

I hope I am wrong, and we recover in a short time."
