AKP members said 'This is what God's wrath looks like' when Hasan Bitmez had a heart attack: Did Özlem Zengin say it?

Saadet Party MP Hasan Bitmez suffered a heart attack while speaking in the TBMM. Bitmez, who was rushed to the hospital, remains in critical condition. 

Following a hospital visit by CHP leader Özgür Özel, his doctor stated, "His life is still at risk. We are maintaining his circulation with an artificial heart and lung machine."

WHO SAID THE WORDS "GOD'S WRATH"?

As Bitmez collapsed, parliamentary records noted that the words, "This is what God's wrath looks like," were shouted from the AKP benches. Journalist İsmail Saymaz stated that CHP MPs informed him that AKP Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin was the one who made the remark.

Saymaz reported the following:

"Even though AKP members claim their colleagues in the back did not see it, that is not the case. Several MPs reached out to me yesterday. I don't know how accurate it is, but they state that AKP Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin said, 'This is God's wrath.' That is what they conveyed to me."

Speaking on a broadcast on Sözcü TV, in response to Ebru Baki saying "I don't think so," Saymaz replied, "I think so; Ms. Özlem was already standing and shouting when Hasan Bey fell."

Clarifying that he was referring to footage of her standing up, Saymaz said, "Some CHP MPs there claimed that Özlem Zengin said it. I did not hear it, and it is not written in the records. I hope it is not true. She has claimed otherwise."
