AKP Elazığ MP Ejder Açıkkapı held a press conference at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
Reminding that the Public Savings and Efficiency Package was shared with the public by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Açıkkapı emphasized that it is essential to implement certain measures to overcome economic difficulties that have inevitably increased due to the pandemic, regional conflicts, and the earthquake disaster.
Stating that the public savings package, which will be neither the first nor the last, has been prepared in this sense, Açıkkapı wished for the new savings package to be beneficial.
Açıkkapı spoke as follows:
"In addition to the implementation of the public savings package, our fight against opportunists who try to suck the blood of our citizens will continue to increase. There will be no step back in the fight against exorbitant prices and opportunism. We continue to implement new regulations that foresee heavy penalties for those who set their sights on our nation's bread and home, and who try to turn one into a thousand."
