AKP officials flock to Adnan Tanrıverdi's funeral
Many AKP officials attended the funeral ceremony held for SADAT founder Adnan Tanrıverdi at the Eyüp Sultan Mosque in Istanbul.
A funeral ceremony was held at the Eyüp Sultan Mosque in Istanbul for Adnan Tanrıverdi, the founder of the International Defense Consulting, Construction, Industry and Trade Inc. (SADAT), who passed away at the age of 80.
Many prominent figures from the Justice and Development Party (AKP) attended the funeral. AKP Deputy Chairmen Ali İhsan Yavuz and Ömer İleri, Istanbul Deputies Süleyman Soylu and İsmail Erden, and Istanbul Provincial Chairman Osman Nuri Kabaktepe were among those who attended the ceremony. Additionally, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül was also present at the ceremony.

Following the funeral ceremony held after the afternoon prayer, Tanrıverdi's body was laid to rest in the Eyüpsultan Cemetery.
