It has been alleged that Ankara MP Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, who switched from the AKP to the IYI Party in 2022, will resign.
Waters are not calming down in the IYI Party, which has left its 5th Extraordinary Congress behind.
Sözcü columnist İsmail Saymaz wrote that IYI Party Ankara MP Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, who did not attend the congress, may resign.
Reporting that he called Fakıbaba one day after the congress, İsmail Saymaz stated that he received the response, "I will not defend any view I do not believe in."
Saymaz said, "I conclude from Fakıbaba's words that he may leave the IYI Party."
HE HAD SWITCHED FROM THE AKP TO THE IYI PARTY
