Akşener's Hamas reaction to Erdoğan: "We did not learn history from half-witted, fez-wearing madmen"

"THE CHIEF PSYCHOPATH IS NETANYAHU"

Akşener stated the following:

"Unfortunately, every century a few psychopaths emerge who have become a plague on humanity. The chief psychopath of the century we are in is, without a doubt, Netanyahu.

Hamas's terrorist attack has gifted Netanyahu with a pretext to display his unhinged cruelty, just as it has spread fear throughout Israeli society. Hamas's acts of slaughtering civilians have overshadowed the rights of Palestine arising from international law, and by serving Netanyahu's dirty agenda, they have dealt the greatest blow to the Palestinian people.

"WE DID NOT LEARN HISTORY FROM FEZ-WEARING MADMEN"

Defining Hamas as a legitimate political structure representing Palestine is to ignore the Palestinian government. Viewing Hamas as the sole representative of Palestine is to provide indirect support to the inhumane theses of Netanyahu, who aims to portray Palestinian civilians as terrorists to the world.

Erdoğan is still defending Hamas. Apparently, we don't know what Hamas is. We did not learn history from half-witted, fez-wearing madmen. We learned it from my esteemed teacher, the late İbrahim Kafesoğlu. We also did not learn foreign policy from romantic palace advisors. We consulted with experts in this field. Do not confuse me with yourself. Why are you defending Hamas, which you supposedly see as a part of Kurdistan in Turkey?

ELEVATOR TRAGEDY

As you know, we experienced an incident last week that broke our hearts. Our daughter Zeren Ertaş lost her life in a KYK dormitory in Aydın after being crushed in an elevator whose maintenance had been neglected. Despite the students complaining to the dormitory administration many times, no precautions were taken. And we sacrificed 22-year-old Zeren, in the prime of her life, not to an accident, but to unconsciousness, lack of seriousness, and incompetence. May Almighty God grant patience to her family and loved ones. May she rest in peace.

Negligence, incompetence, and lack of quality in KYK dormitories are now costing our children their lives. While the pain of Zeren falls like a burning coal on the heart of all of Turkey, thousands of our young people, saying 'We do not want to die, our right is a quality dormitory,' have begun to seek their rights. We cannot and will not leave our youth alone with the dormitory problem, which has now reached the level of a disgrace. We will not abandon our youth, whom our vision of the Republic sees as the greatest value, to such desperation."
