The allegation that Saniye Bora Fıçı, who was elected mayor from the CHP in the Foça district of İzmir, will switch to the AKP has surfaced on the political agenda.
According to journalist İsmail Saymaz, who brought the claim to light, Fıçı's participation in the AKP is expected to take place as part of a program to be held on Thursday, September 10.
If this transition occurs, another name will be added to the list of mayors who were elected from the CHP following the local elections and subsequently joined the AKP.
